Metal and Composite Roofing

What to expect

A roof is more than shingles. We pay attention to underlayment, ventilation where appropriate, vapour pathways, flashings, transitions, and water management so the roof performs as part of the whole building.

  • Careful flashing and transition detailing
  • Water management and durable underlayment strategy
  • Clean execution and site protection
  • Properly layered components for long term protection

“A roof is what makes a building what it is, without the roof, everything else is useless….”

We Specialize in Standing Seam Steel, Barn Steel, and Euroshield Rubber Composite Roofing. New Construction or Replacement. These are durable, long lasting, and sharp looking roof options that fit a variety of circumstances and use cases.

– Standing Seam Steel is the Cadillac of roofs, offering top-of-the-line protection and lifespan. It works on slopes as low as 1/12 in certain circumstances and has very durable no-penetration mounting options for snow guards and solar panels. The roofs have no visible fasteners or sealants, and can last 60-200 years depending on the install, situation, and metal used.

– Euroshield Rubber Composite is THE choice if you want wind, impact, and hail resistance. The off-road Jeep of roofing, this product is designed to take an absolute beating. We’ve tested it with a hammer, and when it is on a solid backing, we could hit it repeatedly as hard as we could without even leaving a mark on the surface. Think semi-truck tire level of abuse capacity, then make it beautiful like slate or cedar shake and put it on your roof. Works on roofs 3/12 slope and greater.

– Barn Steel. The all-round multipurpose roof. Cheap like shingles, borderline bulletproof functionality, a lifespan of 40-60yrs, and looks good while doing it! Works on roofs 3/12 slope and greater.

FAQs

Can you fix leaks without replacing the whole roof?

Sometimes, but often times a leak is a sign of a larger systemic problem with the roof.

Do you address ventilation and moisture risk?

Yes, our new roofs are installed for proper vapour profile and ventilation function. Retrofits are a case by case basis for determining how much work needs to be done to bring the roof up to speed.

Do you do flat or low-slope roofing?

Flat, no. Low slope, if standing seam steel is the material of choice.
