How do you handle surprises in older homes?
This is a case by case basis, but we do our best to plan for the irregularities found in renovations or tie-ins for additions. When it comes to old houses, surprises aren’t really surprising and we take it in stride, doing our best to communicate what is going on with the homeowner.
Can you improve comfort and efficiency during a renovation?
As far as the final product? 100%, it’s our specialty. As far as comfort and efficiency DURING a reno, we try as much as possible to keep the work space sealed off from your living space to maintain as much privacy, comfort, and cleanliness as we can.
Do you take on smaller renovations?
It depends what you mean by smaller, but for the right project we will do any size. We shoot to take on larger scale renovations because our specialty is adjusting the building for comfort and efficiency, which can really only be acheived in a significant way if the reno is a certain size and scope.
